River Run Weaving
Home Grown and Hand Crafted - Quality Items Made From Natural Wool

What sets River Run Weaving apart is the results coming from the entire creative process, which begins with the sheep's wool. We raise our own flock so that we can offer natural and custom-dyed colors for all our products, which include handwoven rugs, saddle blankets and tapestries. We also create handcrafted knit wool socks in standard and custom sizes including boot socks.
The weaving techniques we use are basic and as old as time. The loom is where art and craft come together and we use several looms during the creation of our goods. As the weaver, Sharon operates a one-woman studio, spinning wool into yarn before actually designing, dying and then weaving. She has won numerous awards for her spinning, weaving and rug finishing.
Sharon and Will live on a 10-acre farm in montana where they raise their sheep and llamas. Will is a wonderful shepherd and the flock thrives under his tender care. The wool produced by the flock is especially suited for rugs with a good sheen and long-wearing properties.
We take pride in using time-honored processes and receive much joy in producing high quality art. No two pieces are the same, since you make the choices concerning color and pattern. Please explore the samples in our galleries and call or e-mail to discuss the details of your custom order. Sincerely,
Will and Sharon Hamilton
